My Favorite Picture of the Week.

That face.
Those curls.
That attitude.
I love it all!!
He is growing up so fast.

Nail biter.

Looks like someone is a nail biter,
just like Mommy.
I couldn't figure out, when I went to clip his nails last week, why he didn't have any.
I think it is kinda cute.

Stuck

I guess Harry thought going through the chair would be easier than going around the chair, poor little stuck baby.
At least he found his missing pacifier :)

Please Mom!

Clark REALLY wanted some cookies...he was begging so hard.
Of-course I gave in :)
When don't I.

Look who is turning 3 next week!!!

8 more days and he is NOT going to be 2 anymore. Where does the time go? Honestly, I can't figure it out. I love birthdays, and I can't wait to celebrate number 3 with Clark.

Hand-me downs.

Do you ever wonder what Clark would look like if he was a girl?
I finally found a use for all my old t-shirts, that (lets be real) I am never gonna fit in again. They make great pajama shirts, although a little less pink on Clark would make Jason happier.

Oh how I love thee...

I shall call him Squishy, and he shall be mine, and he shall be my Squishy!!!
I can't even tell you much I love this picture. His fatty buddah belly peeking out of the top of the water. His dirty face and cheeks (from eating leaves and sticks outside). His gappy teeth, which he totally gets from me. His giant puppy paws, and fat little fingers. The way he is scrunching up his nose, making some sort of face at me, probably having to do with the yucky way the bubbles tasted...or the ridiculous noises I was making trying to get him to look at the camera. I love it. I look at it and instantly laugh. I love his little squishy face.

Smell!

Mahi Mell!
Clark kept asking me to smell, or as he likes to say it mell, all the bushes and flowers yesterday (or the other day, they all seem to run into one long long day). This particular bush didn't even have anything on it, just leaves with no smell that I could smell, but he liked this one the most??? Maybe there was something he could smell that I couldn't. He can be so funny some times, and once he gets a thought or idea in his head he can't get rid of it. Funny Little Tuna.

I love Kaneohe.

Kaneohe Bay. This probably would've been a much better picture, if I wasn't so short and I could've seen over the weeds.
I love Kaneohe, and where I live. In fact, if it wasn't so far from my family and I had a bigger house (with air conditioning and a dish washer) then I could live here forever, and ever. Driving home from church last Sunday I was struck by how flat and the still the water was, it looked like glass. I have never seen it so still before, and it made the bay look even more pretty. Add in the way the clouds were drifting down the mountains, and how green and fresh everything looked after the rain... well, to me it just seemed perfect. I feel so fortunate to live in Hawaii, and see the beauty of it everyday.

Spank!

Clark making fun of the way I spanked him...
Clark loves to run downstairs and go in our neighbors (landlords) back porch.  Sometimes he even breaks into their house, and we have to chase him around in a dark house... so embarrassing.  We were playing outside the other night, and I warned him that if he went downstairs again that I would give him a spank.  Do you think that stopped him??  Nope.  He went downstairs, and started to open their screen door to sneak in their house.  I got him and gave him a spank.  Apparently it wasn't hard enough or I wasn't mad enough, because instead of crying he just laughed at me.  Laughed at me and ran up the stairs smacking his own bum, making fun of the way I spanked him.  I couldn't even be mad at him anymore which, I am sure, is the reason he did it.  He is so funny sometimes.

Sharing

On a recent trip to Costco, I got the boys a book to keep them quiet while we were shopping.  I expected a lot fighting over the book, a few eye gouges, and a lot of whining.  But miraculously enough they shared the book!  Not only did they share and read the book together, Clark let Harry snuggle with him!  They looked so heartbreakingly adorable snuggled together in the grocery cart, sharing the book, laughing at the funny sounds the buttons made.  It is moments like this that I will close my eyes to remember the next time Clark shoves Harry just to see how hard he can fall.

Mommy's Little Couch Potato

I can't tell you how many times I have found Harry sitting on the couch like this.  Trying to push the buttons on the remote control to find Backyardigans, so serious (too bad it is the dvd remote control).  I love his face, and I love his guts.

It is coming so fast.

I can't believe that in 13 short days Harry is going to turn 1 year old!  I feel like we just barely brought him home from the hospital, that he barely ate his first bite of real grown-up food, that he just took his first steps.  It all goes by so fast...

It's just a little kibble, Mom.

Caught red handed, eating the cat food!
I don't know what it up with my kids lately, but I can't keep them away from the cat food.  I promise I feed them, and they have never tried to eat it before...but the last couple days I keep catching them snacking away.
I still can't even figure out Harry got the lid off the container, it is a tight lid.  He loves to just stick his hands in it and dig for the best piece.  (I seriously think I just threw up a little.)
'See Mom it's good'....Clark trying to convince me that it is good, and it is okay that he climbed to the top of Gary's house to eat his food.  My crazy boys.

Group Hug

Jay, Harry, Clark and Gary.
The boys sure love torturing, I mean loving, the kitty.

My Favorite Picture of the Week (well, last week).

The boys weren't really feeling well this past weekend, but they needed some fresh air so we decided to go for a little drive.  With the windows down we drove along the coast, the salty air was blowing through the car, and Clark was in heaven.  He looked like a little dog, stretching his neck out the window, his hair blown back, eyes closed soaking in the sun.  He would stick his head out, get the rush and then turn to grin at us...the biggest cheesiest happiest grin.  Delightful.

Taking Out The Trash

I LOVE that he wanted to take the garbage out with Jay.  He was trying to carry the big bag, but couldn't, so Jay made him his own little bag.  It was pretty cute to watch him, and the fact that he was so excited to do it was the cutest.  I can not wait until he can start helping out more around the house...sweeping, vacuuming, dishes.  One chore down...five to go.

To Nap or Not To Nap

So, Little Mr. Stubborn Pants has decided he doesn't need or want a nap anymore....fine by me.  However, he falls asleep almost every night during dinner.
We hardly know what to do when he falls asleep.  If we wake him he spends the next two hours whining and crying cause he is still so tired.  If we can manage to clean him up with out waking him, and put him to bed...he will wake up in a few hours, still grumpy and hungry, and them won't go back to bed until 12:00am!  If we just leave him there to sleep, he is so difficult to put to bed, and stays up later and later.  Ah, what to do?  It is so cute to see him nodding off during dinner though.  Once he even fell asleep with a chicken nugget in his mouth.  I love how in this picture he looks like he is smiling in his sleep, precious!

My Favorite Picture of the Week

Driving Mr. Chubby
I know it is a little out of focus (he was just coming at me way too fast) but it beyond cute.  I love how Harry throws his head back when he laughs, and his two bottom teeth peek out of his little smile.  Nothing makes me happier than watching Clark and Harry play together, especially when there is no crying or fighting.  Harry loves Clark so much, he relishes any attention his brother gives him.  Even if after this photo he suffered three bloody toes from going way to fast down the sidewalk, he doesn't regret it, he is just happy to play for a little while.
